Bolton Avenue play area in Huncoat has received a makeover!
Seeing 4 new additional pieces of equipment installed. A trampoline, a parent and child seesaw and a rotating cone shaped climbing net.
Huncoat Ward Councillor, Dave Parkins was delighted with the additions.
“We hope the upgrade will give local residents a real boost and benefit children of all ages. A variety of play equipment can make a real difference to communities, encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle for children and providing a place where new friendships can form.”
Cllr Paul Cox Cabinet Member for Parks said:
“Outdoor spaces have become even more important to our community in recent times and with this in mind Hyndburn Borough Council continues to invest in its play areas. The improvements made to the Huncoat play area will increase the enjoyment of those using it and ensure the play area is there for many years to come.”
