About us

Made up of 500 members from across our community and all walks of life, we are a strong and diverse team, committed to improving Hyndburn & Haslingden.  The party for equality, social justice and compassion.  We want to share these values with residents and put into action in every part of our communities.  From attending regular social events and meetings, to joining in with our campaigns on local issues, and perhaps even standing for Council yourself, there are so many ways you can get involved.

Who We Are & What We Do

The Hyndburn CLP (Constituency Labour Party) coordinates the activities for the Labour Party across the constituency of Hyndburn.

The CLP works as both a campaigning organisation to help elect Labour candidates across the Hyndburn area and as a body through which local members can get involved and shape Labour policy at a constituency and national level.

We hold monthly meetings where party members can attend and receive updates about the work that the CLP and Labour councillors are undertaking, as well as participating in discussions about policies, campaigns, or other important issues.
